LOMBA, Virginia P. (Rodrigues) 72, of Central Falls passed away

 

at home on March 31, 2010 with her loving children by her side.

 

She was the wife of the late Joao P. Lomba. Mrs. Lomba was born

 

in Brava, Cape Verde Island a daughter of the late Francisco and

 

Amelia (Pires) Rodrigues. She came to this country 32 years ago

 

settling in Central Falls. She is survived by 3 children Pedro Lomba

 

of Central Falls, Silvana Lomba Sakurai of Swampscott, MA and

 

Manuel Lomba of North Attleboro, MA. Many brothers, sisters,

 

nieces and nephews, 4 grandsons. Mother of the late Carminda

 

Lomba. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 am from the Merrick

 

R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket with a

 

Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church Pine St.

 

Pawtucket. Calling hours Monday 5-9 pm. Burial will be in Mount

 

St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
