Rose M. Marques, 68, of Pawtucket, died Tuesday at Memorial

 

Hospital of Rhode Island. Miss Marques was born in Lincoln, RI.

 

She was the daughter of the late Olivera & Mary (Rose) Araujo.

 

She had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life. She was employed

 

by Health-Tex Mfg. Co. as a knitter for many years until her

 

retirement due to illness. Miss Matques was a member of Mount

 

Hope Community Baptist Chruch. She was an amazing cook. She

 

was a lover of ocean and fishing. She loved to play bingo and

 

cards. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Edelstein and her

 

husband Stephen of Pawt. and Ana DaLomba of Pawt. Her sister

 

Anna Brentley of Detroit and her brother David Araujo of

 

Johnston. Her aunt Elaine and several nieces and nephews. She

 

was the sister of the late Charlotte Duarte. Calling hours will be

 

held in the Mount Hope Community Baptist Church 734 Hope St.

 

Providence on Saturday from 8-10 am, with a funeral service at

 

10 am. Burial will be in Spring Brook Cem. Mansfield, MA. In lieu

 

of flowers, donations in Miss Marques memory may be made to

 

Mount Hope Community Baptist Church.
