Roger A. Emery, 83, of Chestnut Ave. died Tuesday at home after

a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Beatrice R. (Lussier)

Emery. Mr. Emery was born in Pawtucket a son of the late Louise

& Alma (Pelland) Emery. He had lived most of his life in Lincoln.

He was employed by Carol Wire Co. of Pawtucket as a Leadman &

Machinist Millwright for 35 years untill his retirement in 1986 and

also was employed by Hemphill Co. of Central Falls for many

years. Mr. Emery was a community of St. Edward's Church. He

was a great fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Golf & Tennis. Former

member of St. Edward's Church senior club and Central Falls

Community Center. Roger & Beatrice were married for 62 years.

Besides his wife he is survived by 1 daughter Nancy I. Emery of

Riverside, 1 son Michael Emery and his wife Jane of East

Falmouth, MA. 2 grandchildren Carolyn & John Emery of East

Falmouth. Many cousins, nieces & nephews. Brother of the late

Irene Tetu, Raymond & Julian Emery. A funeral will be held Friday

at 9am from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield

Ave. Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian burial at 10am is St.

Edward's Church Weeden St. Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held

on Thursday 6-8PM. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery,

Pawtucket. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St.

Edward's Church Capital Campaign Fund 58 Hancock St.
