Norman J. Lantagne, 82, of Douglas Pike, died Tuesday at
Heritage Hills Nursing Center. He was the husband of Rosa A.
(Meikle) Lantagne. Mr. Lantagne was born in Pawtucket, a son of
the late Henry and Christina (Henvey) Lantagne. He had lived
most of his life in Pawt. He was employed by N.E. Paper Tube Co.
of Pawt. as a truck driver for many years. Mr. Lantagne was a U.S.
Navy Vetern of WWII. Besides his wife, he survived by a daughter
Norma Lantagne of Bellingham, MA; 3 sons Henry Lantagne of N.
Prov., Richard Lantagne of Seekonk, MA and Robert Lantagne of
N. Attleboro, Ma. 1 sister Thelma Landry of Pawt. 9 grandchildren
and 5 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Francis,
Henry and Joseph Lantagne. Calling hours will be held on Friday
from 8:30 to 9:30am in the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530
Smithfield Ave. Pawt. with a mass of Christian Burial at 10am in
the Church of the Presentation 1081 Mineral Spring Ave. N.
Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery Pawtucket. In
lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beacon Hospice 1
