BOURASSA, Norman J. 92, of Anthony Drive, died March 20,

 

2009. He was the husband of Doris A. (Paquette) O'Leary

 

Bourassa. He was born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Adjutor

 

& Anna (Langlois) Bourassa. He was employed by the City of

 

Pawtucket as a firefighter for 34 years until his retirement in 1981.

 

Mr. Bourassa was a member of Major Walter Gatchell VFW Post

 

#306, Pawt.; Lefoyer Club, Pawt.; Pawtucket Firemen's Relief

 

Association; Union of St. Jean the Baptist; U. S. Army Veteran of

 

WWII serving in the Pacific Theater; St. Raphael Academy

 

Diamond Heroes in 1933; Provincial League in Sorel Canada

 

Champs 1935-1938; Falmouth Cape Cod Champs 1933-1939;

 

Pawtucket Amateur League 1935. Besides his wife, he is survived

 

by 1 daughter Betty Ann Drezek of Cumb. 5 grandchildren, 10

 

great-grandchildren and Sev. nieces & nephews. He was pre-

 

deceased by his son Robert Bourassa and his grandson Matthew

 

Bourassa. He was brother of the late Rose Ringuette, Eva

 

Bourassa, Rosa Bourassa, Irene Boule, Ernest, Arthur & Albert

 

Bourassa. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 8:30 am from

 

the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave.

 

Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 am in St. John

 

Vianney Church 3609 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumb. Calling hours

 

Monday 5-8pm. Burial with Military Honors will be in Notre Dame

 

Cem., Pawt. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St.

 

Vincent DePaul Society 173 Washington St. Plainville, MA
