Maria C. Gominho (Caldas) 79, of Waterman Ave. died Saturday at

 

Eastgate Nursing Home. She was the Wife of the late Manuel T.

 

Gominho. Mrs. Gominho was born in Brava, Cape Verde a

 

daughter of the late Antonio and Dionisia (Encanacao)Caldas. She

 

came to this country 42 years ago settling in Central Falls and had

 

lived in East Providence for the past 8 years. She is survived by 4

 

sons Luis Gominho of Fredericksburg, VA, Antonio Gominho of

 

Andover, MA Flavio Gominho of Huntington Station, NY and

 

Emanuel Gominho of Columbia, MD 2 sisters Maria Rosario

 

Oliveira of Pawt. and Maria Antonia Pina of Central Falls. 2

 

Grandchildren Mariangela and Nuno Gominho. Sister of the late

 

Manuel Caldas. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at

 

8:30am from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield

 

Ave. Pawt. with a mass of christian burial at 9:30am in

 

Immaculate Heart of Mary Church High St. Pawt. Burial will be in

 

Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawt. Calling hours Tuesday 4-8 pm.
