Luiza M. Almeida, 82, of Broad St. died Tuesday at Harris Health

 

Care in Central Falls. She was the wife of Manuel L. Almeida was

 

born in S. Nicolau, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Pedro and

 

Maria R. (Almeida) Lopes. She came to this country 22 years ago

 

settling in Pawtucket. Mrs. Almeida was a member of Mount Hope

 

Community Baptist Church. Besides her husband she is survived

 

by her sons & daughters, Arnaldo D'Almeida of Pawt. Maria Alzira

 

Almeida, Albertino D. Almeida, Avelina M. Almeida and Adriano L.

 

Almeida all of Portugal and Aldina L. Almeida of Fall River, MA.

 

One sister Domingas Lopes of Portugal. Fourteen Grandchildren

 

and Eleven great-grandchildren. Mother of the late Manuel L.

 

Aleida Jr. and Aguinaldo L. Almeida. Calling hours will be held in

 

the Mount Hope Community Baptist Church 734 Hope St.

 

Providence on Sunday from 5-9 pm. Funeral will be Monday at 10

 

am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground Providence.
