Lois J. Dawson, 92, died Friday at Grandview Nursing Home. She

 

was the wife of the late Harold Dawson. Mrs. Dawson was born in

 

Pawtucket, daughter of the late Charles F. and Mildred I. (Cheney)

 

Drummond. She had lived most of her life in Pawtucket. Mrs.

 

Dawson was a member of Smithfield Ave. Congregational Church

 

for 56 years, church choir member and former deaconess. AARP

 

#1192, Past president of the Pawtucket PTA. She is survived by

 

two sons, Harold S. Dawson of Belmont, NC and Bruce W.

 

Dawson of Naples, FL. Two sisters, June Stroscio of Pawt. and

 

Shirley Alix of Cumb. 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

 

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10am in the Merrick

 

R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket. Calling

 

hours Monday 6-9 pm. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park,

 

Johnston.
