FORTES, Jose M. 91, of Beecher St. died Sept. 26, 2010. He

 

was the husband of the late Deolinda (Monteiro) Fortes.  He was

 

born in Brava, Cape Verde Island, a son of the late Manuel and

 

Louisa (Rodrigues) Fortes. He came to this country 24 years ago

 

settling in Pawtucket. He is survived by 5 children Moses Fortes,

 

Domingas Pereira, Manuel, Maria and  Pedro Fortes all of

 

Pawtucket.  1 brother Sylvester Fortes of Pawtucket. 1 sister

 

Bernaldina Fortes Correia of Brava, Cape Verde. 12

 

grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. A funeral will be held

 

Wednesday at 9am from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral

 

Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian

 

Burial at 10am in St. Anthony's Church 32 Lawn Ave. Pawtucket. 

 

Calling Hours Tuesday 5-9 pm.  Burial will be in Oak Grove
