Jose A. Ramos, 58, of Fairview Ave. died Sunday at home. He was

 

the husband of Maria F. (Varela) Ramos. Mr. Ramos was born in

 

Praia, Cape Verde, a son of Lydia (Alves) Ramos and the late Jose

 

Ramos. He came to this country 23 years ago settling in Boston

 

and had lived in Pawtucket for the past 18 years. He was

 

employed by Micro Fibers of Pawtucket as a machinist for 6 years.

 

Besides his wife, he is survived by 7 children Carlos Ramos of

 

Boston, Maria Amado of Taunton, Elsa Monteiro of Prov. Helga

 

Ramos of Brockton, Andrea Carvalho, Anderso Ramos and Kevin

 

Ramos all of Pawtucket. 7 brothers 5 sisters and 13 grandchildren.

 

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 am from the Merrick R.

 

Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket with a Mass

 

of Christian burial at 10 am in St. Anthony's Church Lawn Ave.

 

Pawtucket. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
