Jeannette C. Morel, 94, died peacefully at the East Bay Manor

 

surrounded by her many friends.  She was the loving and much

 

loved wife of the late Normand R. Morel and lived in Pawtucket for

 

60 years.  The daughter of Wilbrud and Maria (Courtemanche)

 

Forand.  "Jean" was born and raised in Fall River, MA.  She

 

retired from Sanford Gold & Co. after 40 years as a bookkeeper.

 

After retirement, Jean and Normand spent many happy years in

 

service to St. Edward's Parish in Pawtucket. Jeannette is survived

 

by her daughter Denise Morel of Riverside, and her nieces and

 

nephews Claudette Sortino, Paul Renaud, Russell Renaud,

 

Jeanne Wilkens, Roger Forand and Richard Forand.  A funeral

 

service will be held at the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530

 

Smithfield Ave. Pawt. Thursday at 9am with a Mass of Christian

 

Burial at 10am in St. Edward's Church Weeden St. Pawt. Calling

 

Hours Wednesday 4-7pm. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery

 

Pawt.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home &

 

Hospice Care of RI1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904

 

 and/or St. Edward's Church.
