ALONSO, Isaura G. of Pawtucket died Wednesday at Hopkins

 

Manor. She was the wife of Serafin Alonso. Mrs. Alonso was born

 

in Brava, Cape Verde. A daughter of the late Manuel and Maria

 

(Gonsalves) Gomes, she came to this country 50 years ago and

 

settled in Pawtucket. She was employed by American Insulated

 

Wire as a wire worker for 28 years. Isaura was a member of

 

Mount Hope Community Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she

 

is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sister of the

 

late Manuel, Andre and David Gomes. A funeral service will be

 

held at the Mount Hope Community Baptist Church, 734 Hope St.

 

Providence on Saturday at 10am. Calling hours will be held in the

 

church from 9-10am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground.
