TOMAR, Helder G. 19, of Harvey St. died Saturday at Rhode

 

Island Hospital. Mr. Tomar was born in Boa Vista, Cape Verde a

 

son of Paulo & Virginia (Gomes) Tomar of Pawtucket. He came to

 

this country 18 years ago settling in New York and had lived in

 

Pawtucket for the past 17 years. He was employed by Epoch

 

Nursing Home in Providence. Mr. Tomar loved his family dearly

 

especially his mom. He graduated from Shea High School, class of

 

2007 and played for the school's football team, which was his

 

passion. He also loved to sing and draw. besides his parents, he is

 

survived by 3 brothers John, Lenny & Rendy Tomar all of

 

Pawtucket. 3 sisters Odilia Cruz of Brockton, MA, Tereza & Gorette

 

Tomar both of Pawtucket. Paternal grandmother Doratea L.

 

Gomes of Cape Verde, Maternal grandmother Rosamaria Ramos of

 

Cape Verde & Pawtucket. He also leaves many aunts, uncles,

 

nieces, nephews, and cousins & friends. His funeral will be held on

 

Friday at 10am in the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530

 

Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket. Calling hours Thursday at 10am to

 

2pm and 4 to 9pm. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery

 

Pawtucket.
