NIELD, Earl J., 66, of Pawtucket, died Saturday March 28, 2009 at

 

Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Ctr. in Prov. He was the husband

 

of Janice A. (Wunschel) Nield. He was born in Providence, a son

 

of the late James C. and Edith D. (Massey) Nield. He owned &

 

operated Earl's Auto Body in Johnston for several years. He was

 

an auto salesman for Roberts Ford and Barrington Ford. He was a

 

truck driver for Cala Fruit Co. in Pawtucket and he had recently

 

worked for Tasca Lincoln/Mercury. He graduated from Pawtucket

 

Vocational Technical High School in 1960. Former member and RI

 

State Director of NAFCA. Member of three chapters of FMCA;

 

Yankee Travelers, Cape Codders and Northeast. He was a U.S.

 

Army Veteran. Besides his wife, he is survived by 1 daughter Tina

 

Nield, 1 sister Doris M. Begin of Prov. and 1 granddaughter Haley.

 

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 am in the Merrick

 

R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket. Calling

 

hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 pm. Burial will be in

 

Highland Memorial Park, Johnston In lieu of flowers, donations

 

may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI 169 George St.
