Candida R. Sousa, 90, of Kennedy Drive died Monday at Miriam

 

Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antonio Sousa. Mrs. Sousa

 

was born in Brava, Cape Verde, a daughter of the late Marcelino

 

and Eugenia Rodrigues. She came to this country 31 years ago

 

settling in Pawtucket. She is survived by 5 daughters Eliza Lopes

 

of Holland, Idalgiza Sousa of Pawt., Maria Gomes of North

 

Providence, Madelena Sousa of Taunton, MA and Arlete Lopes of

 

Pawt. 3 sons Joao Sousa of Cape Verde, Adelino Sousa of Pawt.

 

and Manuel Sousa of North Providence. 1 brother Abel Rodrigues

 

of Central Falls. 25 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1

 

great-great-granddaughter. A funeral will be held Friday at 9am

 

from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave.

 

Pawt. with a Mass of ChristianBurial at 10am in St. Edwards

 

Church Weeden St. Pawt. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery
