Benvinda T. Garcia, 79, of Mineral Spring Ave. Pawt., died

 

Tuesday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joaquim

 

Araujo. Mrs. Garcia was born in Brava, Cape Verde. A daughter of

 

the late Bernaldino T. Garcia and Camdida DaVeiga and came to

 

this country 14 years ago settling in Pawtucket. She is survived by

 

6 children, Claudina G. Rodrigues, Jorge G. Araujo, Emanuel

 

Lopes, Camdida G. Araujo, Jose Antonio Garcia & Viriato G.

 

Rodrigues all of Pawtucket. 1 sister, Paulina T. Garcia of Brava,

 

Cape Verde. 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister

 

of the late Idalina G. Gomes. A funeral service will be held

 

Saturday at 9am from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530

 

Smithfield Ave. Pawt. with a mass of christian burial at 10am in

 

St. Anthony's Church Lawn Avenue Pawt. Calling hours Friday 5-

 

9pm. Burial will be Oak Grove Cemetery Pawtucket.
