Allan N. Young Sr., 68, of North Providence died April 26, 2011.

 

 He was the husband of Carol A. (Jarvis) Young.  He was born in

 

Littleton, NH a son of the late Paul G. and Lela (Blodgett) Young.

 

 He was employed by General Cable Co. of Pawtucket for 22

 

years until his retirement.  He was a 30 year member of Smithfield

 

 Ave. Congregational Church, U.S. Navy Veteran and enjoyed

 

woodworking.  Besides his wife he is survived by 1 son Allan

 

N.Young Jr. of Cumberland, 1 daughter Dawn Martin of

 

Georgetown, SC, 2 sisters Gail Perkins and Cindy Davis, 6

 

grandchildren Renee, Kevin, Remme, Shane, Chad, Taylor and

 

Shailynn, 2 great-grandchildren Cameron and Samantha.  A

 

funeral service will be held Sunday at 4:30 pm in the Smithfield

 

Ave. Congregational Church 514 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket.
