Alice M. Hollinghurst, 84, passed away September 9, 2008

 

surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late

 

William E. Hollinghurst. Born in Pawtucket, RI daughter of the late

 

Samuel D. and Emily (Denison) Lynds. She was a long time

 

member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church in Pawtucket, RI;

 

A.A.R.P., the Internaltion Order of Kings Daughters and Sons and

 

also Sowing for the Lord. She formerly worked as an office clerk

 

for the Pawtucket Mutual Fire Isurance Company and later for the

 

Pawtucket Fasteners. She is survived by a daughter, Eileen

 

Davidnon and her husband Paul of Uxbridge, Ma; a son William D.

 

Hollinghurst, Sr. and his wife Sylvia of Cumberland, RI; and a

 

daughter Joyce L. Hollinghurst of Cumberland, RI. Eight

 

Grandchildren and nine Great-Grandchildren. She was also the

 

sister of the late Dorothy Martin and the late Raymond Lynds. A

 

funeral service will be held on Friday at 10am in the Merrick R.

 

Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket, RI. Calling

 

hours Thursday 5-8 pm. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery

 

Providence, RI.
